St. Mary MacKillop College Theatre

The SMMC theatre has been complementary refurbished to provide an exemplary performance space for the college. The space undertook an extensive upgrade of its existing Lighting, Audio / Visual, Mechanical Systems and Cyclorama screen systems. The existing bio-box located above the seating area was included in the AV upgrades. An existing redundant orchestra pit under the stage was upgraded as an automatic movable floor which provides three functions; orchestra pit beneath the main stage, additional seating floor area, and additional stage floor area.

Architectural treatment and finishes to the space were minimal but elegant to provide an overall uplifting user experience.
